It cannot be said often enough that the chief of staff of the United States Army, Gen. George Casey, responded to a massacre of 13 Americans in which the suspect is a Muslim by saying: "Our diversity ... is a strength."

As it happens, I've only read (skimmed) the first book of the series so most of these points are not my own. At the end of this post I'll give you a link to my sources. I've read some pretty interesting articles about whether Edward Cullen is an abusive boyfriend or the perfect boyfriend.

Mr. Cuccinelli's bigotry
As attorney general, he would be an embarrassment to Virginia.
KENNETH CUCCINELLI, the Republican candidate for Virginia state attorney general, believes it's "appropriate" to formulate public policy on the premise that homosexuals engage in behavior that is "intrinsically wrong" and offensive to "natural law."

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/10/20/bethenny.frankel.pregnant/index.html?section=cnn_latest
(People.com) -- Bethenny Frankel, who got engaged to her boyfriend Jason Hoppy earlier this month, is pregnant with her first child, she told PEOPLE exclusively.
Although "The Real Housewives of New York City" star had hoped to wait until she was further along to break the news, online buzz on PerezHilton.com caused her to reveal that she's roughly two months pregnant.
"It's premature to be telling people this," she told PEOPLE while fighting back tears.

Forgive my delusions of grandeur, but my current state of writing euphoria has hit an all time high. I've managed to edit three whole chapters today with the Star Wars original trilogy playing in the background for moral support. So when I saw the ruby Zadey Pumps by Linea Paolo, a flash of fashion inspiration hit me and I call this ensemble 'What I Would Wear To My Publisher's Meet'.

Here's the scoop,
My boyfriend of 6 months has his 19th birthday coming up, and I want to do/make something really special for him. I'm still in high school, a senior, and with advanced classes I don't have the free time to hold up a job, so money is hard to come by. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for something creative I could do for him?

Unfortunately, in this world of Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, camera phones, texting, etc., if you let someone into your virtual world - you have "let them in" to your world. My advice falls under the "Hindsight is 20/20" cliche unfortunately. If a person doesn't want "problems" like a 'fatal attraction'-type romance, then don't open the door to it.
