I started taking Mercilon last week.
I never used a birth control pill before and I started in the first day of my period.
So, ladies, when can I start having sex without protection?

I am going to the doctor to get on the pill next week, but I have no idea which one is the best, with the least side affects. I researched and found that it is actaully a myth that people gain weight on the pill, but it is true that some people do have a lower sex drive, do get moody, ect ect....which one are you all on, what do you recommend????

I went back on the pill after a 3 year hiatus.
The 1st time I was on it years ago, I didn't experience changes with my body whatsoever except lack of cramps when it came period time.
For some reason, this time my breasts are affected by the hormones.

Now that you are getting married, you might find that your birth control needs are changing. Since you are in a monogamous relationship, you don't have to worry about contracting an STI, so birth control methods that weren't an option before may suddenly be perfect for you. Plus, you may want to think about more suitable options depending on whether or not you are planning on having kids.

I am wondering if anybody can give me some advice about birth control pills. I am in a relationship and would like to go on the pill before having sex. However, I am really worried that somehow my parents will find out (they are religious and very against pre-marital sex).

The male contraceptive pill has been in the works for more than three decades now. What's taking so long? Well, from a scientific standpoint, a male pill is much more difficult to develop than the female version.

I went on the pill 6 months ago because I was dealing with 12 - 14 day periods, horrible cramps and acne. It worked beautifully in solving all those problems, so I'm very happy in that regard.
Unfortunately, I've gained 8 pounds.
