My personal note: We already have a small wind farm onland, near Atlantic City. I am so thrilled about the possibility of this wind farm, with the new Air Quality regulations coming out. As a nation, we need me alternative, environmentally friendly power sources.

ATLANTIC CITY - Michael Mohr isn't ready to give up captaining a surf clam boat just yet, but he sure likes a proposal by a group of New Jersey fishermen to build a wind farm off this casino resort.
Mohr, sitting in the wheelhouse of the Lady Brittany at Barney's Dock on Saturday, pondered the possibilities.
"I think a lot of us are interested in it.

Glenn Harlan Reynolds: It's the follow-through that matters in New York's special race
By: Glenn Harlan Reynolds
Sunday Reflections Contributor
Next week's special congressional election in New York's 23rd Congressional District seems to have the entire political class in an uproar. Mainstream Republican pols like former House Speaker Newt Gingrich are afraid it portends a grass-roots revolt, or, worse, a third party for 2012.

He's Not Jimmy Carter
By Quin Hillyer on 9.3.09 @ 6:09AM
Conservatives are taking too much solace in the precipitous drop in Barack Obama's approval ratings, and too many of us are overconfident that his administration is merely a replay of the hapless presidency of Jimmy Carter that was easily swept out in a landslide election.
Today's situation is far different, far more conducive to our political adversary's political power, than that which faced Carter. And Obama is an entirely different breed of cat.
