A new GAO report finds that developmentally disabled and emotionally troubled kids have been physically punished and restrained at schools and treatment centers. The report, which came out today, details cases at public and private schools across the nation where children as young as five have been sat on, lashed to chairs, isolated for hours, starved, and humiliated as punishment for actions like "slouching and hand waving." In dozens of cases, these punitive measures resulted in students' deaths.

I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Richard, the 11 year
Old next door whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to Come over.
Richard clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.

It's been two months since Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon wed in a quickie ceremony in the Bahamas, and people have sort of forgotten about them. Cue the breakup rumors! That's sure to get you back in the tabloids!

How is it possible that Joss Stone may be having money problems, while crackhead Amy Winehouse is somehow still worth millions? It’s hard to believe, but the Daily Mirror is reporting that Stone’s company is in debt after paying out 2.2 Million pounds to the singer so she could purchase a home.
Joss Stone may have to live on a diet of free chocolate bars if her business accounts keep dwindling.

If you click here you can read the latest angry post about Brit and her “clueless abuse of animals.” The organization is upset with her over her use of lions and elephants in the video. But what’s a real circus without animals?

Only ONE insurance company was brave enough to cover Lindsay Lohan on the set of her new movie, Labor Pains. Her history of drug and alcohol use is making organizations politely decline when asked. The problem is you NEED insurance to work and if no one is willing to take on Lindsay, then she will be in much fewer roles.

Here’s an interesting situation where a movie might not get finished because of financing issues. Temperamental director David O. Russell’s saucy political comedy Nailed has been put on hold while shooting in South Carolina because of funding issues.

The Daily Mail, my favorite UK paper, sat down with Katie Holmes and asked her a variety of questions about love, life, and the first time she realized her life had changed from acting. I can actually hear her saying these responses - cool and calm.
WHAT WERE YOUR DREAMS AS A CHILD?
