I just wanted to let everyone in my group know and all the friends who have befriended me, thank you. It means a lot to me when you read my post and then even make a comment on the ones that you like. It makes me feel good knowing that each and everyone of us are starting to form a bond of some kind.

Since it's Thanksgiving and all, I thought I'd post pictures of some of the recipes from the Kitchen Goddess Group that I have made and loved in the past few months. And I also want to say thank you to all of the Kitchen Goddesses in this group that have given me inspiration and a bigger belly in the past few months! :medal: Every week I get some really great recipes in this group and without you I'd often be clueless as what to make for dinner.

I was sitting in the living room watching a movie tonight when I heard rain pounding on the chimney. I felt compelled to walk out on the front porch (at 1:30 in the morning) and just watch. The rain was saturating our yard, turning it into a giant mud slide.

I just wanted to thank all of you who've joined, who comment, and who participate in this group. I just noticed today how lively it always is, and I really enjoy that.
I'm glad you all enjoy this group, too.

Let me just say ladies that being here on the Sugar site has been great and rewarding, it has been a learning experience, and I think of all the ladies (even the ones that I do not talk to on a regular bases) as my teachers. I love the fact that we all learn from each other.
I am doing my hair myself more and more because I am traveling for my job and to save more money for my quest for home ownership; so my trips to the hair dresser/salon is only for maintenance: getting my ends clipped, relaxer, and sometimes just a treat ( I love having someone else wash my hair sometimes).

When I was in college, I read a book that changed my life. It was Susan Brownmiller's tome, Against Our Will: Men, Women, and Rape, which explained rape as an act of power instead of just lust. What I found particularly chilling was the chapter on war -- how rape is used to terrorize a population and destroy the enemy's spirit.

Spunks-Girls has reach over 500 members this weekend! A big thank you to Seras who like all of us fell in love with this wonderful man. She created this group a little over a year ago to share her thought, feels, pictures and news about Rob and a big thank you for that!
