Ellen DeGeneres Joins American Idol as Fourth Judge
Emmy Award-winning talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has joined American Idol as the new fourth judge sitting alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi. As the new judge, Ellen will offer her own unique perspective to the contestants throughout the competition. Season 9 will premiere this January.

For her second Shape cover (her first was January 2008), the New York Times best-selling author chats about her romance with actor Kyle Howard and her new clothing line for Kohl’s while sitting pretty for three very different cover shots. At the beginning of her relationship, Lauren admits to getting soft around the middle.

I know, I know: Daniel Tosh has been doing stand-up for years, and a quick scan of his Wikiquote page reveals him to be an incredibly funny man.
But now he's got this weekly television show, Tosh.0, featuring our charming host offering up/breaking down "the best of the web!", with a heaping helping of obsessive follow-through.
Case in point: The segment called "Web Redemption", wherein Tosh hunts down notorious viral video "celebrities"—Afro Ninja, that guy who puked during a TV interview—and gives them a chance to redeem themselves.

CHICAGO - Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper "Ocean's Eleven" and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show," died Saturday at age 50.

"Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital," his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.
