I was inspired to do this post just now when I took the dog out. There's a crapload of honeysuckle growing around the corner, and I was thinking how, if there was a little less of it, it'd smell heavenly, but there's too much and it's rather overpowering.
Anyway, it got me to thinking of my favorite smells so here they are:
bacon frying
lavender
coconut
vanilla
garlic sauteed in butter
fresh basil
fresh coffee
rain on hot, dry ground (the specific term for this is "petrichor")
cookies baking
creme brulee
rosemary
a bonfire
cinnamon
What are yours??

In our latest issue, Taylor Lautner reveals how he went from a skinny martial arts kid to starring in the blockbuster Twilight franchise. In this bonus Q&A you won't find in the issue, he examines the love triangle that drives Stephenie Meyer's stories.
Don't you think that when some fans see New Moon, they may be disappointed, because you're kind of the villain in a way.I have some pretty passionate team Jacob fans [laughs].

You know those mornings when you
hit the snooze 5 times and are running
late, hardly time to brush your teeth,
let alone time to wash and style your hair. Here
are a couple of tips to freshen, at least your hair,
for the day. (DO take the time ot brush your teeth).
Powder Your Roots
So your hairline does not look greasy: Dig up a big, fluffy makeup brush, or a big cottonball and dip it into a
pot of after shower powder/body talc. Tap it once on the back of your hand to remove the excess, then dust
it over your roots. It mops up oil and blends into your strands, so no one will know you didn't shower.
Scent Strands with Perfume
Spray a light shot of fragrance into the bristles and run it through strands from roots
to ends and your hair will smell amazing throughout the day.

We can't forget that
the GUYS on our list could probably
use a new dop kit or a new fragrance.
We have to keep them looking good and
smelling good. We know they won't do
it themselves.
Here are some gift ideas.

My boyfriend and I were talking about smelling like each other after sex. It has a sexy talk so I was getting in the mood and it excited me that he has my scent on him for a few days after we had sex. I know I don't smell bad, I make sure I don't.

Yesterday, I had a crummy, stressful day at work. It was one of those days when the higher-ups are freaking out about an impossible deadline at the end of the week, getting everyone else all stirred up and anxious, only to find out later that the deadline is actually two weeks away. It was frustrating and tiring.

Bluesuze asked about what scents I have, so here is a list:
I use testers a lot because I get bored by scents quickly and I want a scent for every mood I could ever be in ;)
I don't go for the heavier scents, maybe it's because I think a scent is intimate and shouldn't enter a room 30 minutes before you do and leave 3 days after you're gone. I'm not really good in describing a scent, so I'll tell you when I wear it.
The testers I use at this moment are:
Dior - Fahrenheit (when I feel sad or want to remember my late teens/early twenties)
Kenzo - Kenzo Amour (when I go to a romantic movie or dinner I tend to use this one lately)
Mochino Cheap and Chic - I love (Tough girl mood)
Fendi - Palazzo (when I need a warming scent, it is pretty woody and heavy, but I do like it)
Jean Paul Gaultier - Classique (Formal nights)
Calvin Klein - Eternity (I use this for school and such)
Christina Aguilera - Inspire (new and I love this!
