Poor me, I’m one of those sad ladies you see looking through boutique shop windows wanting to buy all the clothes and shoes (and winter coats) that my heart desires.
Alas, my bank account often screams to me from the hole in the wall on the other side of the road – don’t you bloody dare.
Fortunately I have some degree of self control and therefore end up spending my dosh on food – and that’s not doing much for my thighs!
Please tell me I am not the only one who refuses to spend money on what I cant afford.

A New York bicycle cabbie who last year used his Web site to mock the beheading of journalist Daniel Pearl posted a prayer calling for the murder of Jews and exhorting Muslims to “throw liquid drain cleaner in their faces." And there's nothing authorities can do about it.
Yousef al-Khattab, who runs RevolutionMuslim.com and pedals a pedicab in New York City, insists the words he has posted on his Web site are a prayer, and not a threat — and that his hatred is protected by the First Amendment.

I was not aware how much i needed the contact to the outside world, yet proved that within two days: my husband said he wanted to go to a city – around 300 km away fm Tripoli – for a day and a night. He only returned after three days and three nights. I nearly went nuts.

If you’ve been to the movies a few times in the past six months chances are you may have seen a preview for the much anticipated earth shattering disaster film 2012. The film with the help of masterful special effects portrays a cataclysm presumably predicted by the Mayan Calendar. This famous interpretation may be considered baloney by many but make sure your sentiment for the theory does not disparage the accuracy of the Mayan calendar.

Here’s an excellent example of pwnage: when the white supremacist group VNN Vanguard Nazi/KKK tried to host a hate rally in Knoxville, Tennessee, they were foiled by … clowns!
Unfortunately for [VNN] the 100th ARA (Anti Racist Action) clown block came and handed them their asses by making them appear like the asses they were.
Alex Linder the founder of VNN and the lead organizer of the rally kicked off events by rushing the clowns in a fit of rage, and was promptly arrested by 4 Knoxville police officers who dropped him to the ground when he resisted and dragged him off past the red shiny shoes of the clowns.

The wife of a rich man fell sick, and as she felt that her end was drawing near, she called her only daughter to her bedside and said, "Dear child, be good and pious, and then the good God will always protect you, and I will look down on you from heaven and be near you."
Thereupon she closed her eyes and departed. Every day the maiden went out to her mother's grave, and wept, and she remained pious and good.

every year my major (textiles and clothing) throws a black, white, and [insert color here] ball. last year was pink, this year it was all about going green. in keeping with the theme, i decided to make my outfit out of the fabric that i had left over from one of my classes.
