She is much more Religious Right then I like in Conservative politicians, but I still found her interesting.
The new wave of female firebrands striking fear into liberal America
Right-wing radicals are already pinning presidential ambitions on a mother-of-five from Minnesota who calls herself a 'fool for Christ' and condemns Obama as a socialist at the head of a gangster regime

As we know many are crying foul regarding the release of the convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi. I'm inclined to call foul too because as the law society of Scotland President points out in the video this is not a prisoner transfer. Something that I would have been in full support of if the powers that be wanted to allow Megrahi to die in his home land but this is a release. IMO a complete slap in the face to the victims.
Moving on to the criticism of the whole affair I cry foul here as well. First of all I don't know why any one is criticizing al-Qaddafi all he did was petition for his citizen to come home and die. Scotland is the one that released him however now we have all sorts talking about how we need to place sanctions on Libya and cut them off again. This after Libya gave up WMD's and have been nothing but cooperative in other affairs. Well what about Scotland? Are we gonna cut them off too? Just sounds like ass backwards criticism to me. Libya didn't release the prisoner all they did was ask.

Moscow starts to shut up shopSoaring unemployment and a shrinking economy point to long winters of discontent
Kathryn Hopkins in Moscow The UK Guardian
Four decades after her father wrote Back in the USSR, Stella McCartney is shutting up shop in Moscow. Designers such as Lanvin and Alexander McQueen have followed suit. Several stores that were once packed with fur-clad Russians fighting to pick up the latest western trends now stand empty.

Obama On Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers And Wall Street Crisis
CHICAGO — Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said Monday the upheaval on Wall Street was "the most serious financial crisis since the Great Depression" and blamed it on policies that he said Republican rival John McCain supports.
"This country can't afford another four years of this failed philosophy," Obama said after the shock-wave announcements that financial giant Lehman Brothers was filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy while titan Merrill Lynch was being bought by Bank of America for about $50 billion.
Obama's statement, issued as he prepared to fly to Colorado to begin a swing through contested Western states, was intended to serve two purposes: to link McCain with the unpopular presidency of George W.

BERLIN (AFP) - A 13-year-old German schoolboy corrected NASA's estimates on the chances of an asteroid colliding with Earth, a German newspaper reported Tuesday, after spotting the boffins had miscalculated
Nico Marquardt used telescopic findings from the Institute of Astrophysics in Potsdam (AIP) to calculate that there was a 1 in 450 chance that the Apophis asteroid will collide with Earth, the Potsdamer Neuerster Nachrichten reported.
NASA had previously estimated the chances at only 1 in 45,000 but told its sister organisation, the European Space Agency (ESA), that the young whizzkid had got it right.
The schoolboy took into consideration the risk of Apophis running into one or more of the 40,000 satellites orbiting Earth during its path close to the planet on April 13 2029.
