Gee...another desperate email from the Obama Minions....I thought you'd like to see some of the crap they are still sending out in emails! Cheeky removed the links aside from the one that has text in it (because you HAD to see what they wrote there) but I caution you that if you click it you have automatically added your signature to their "list" which is very sneaky.

(( I don't care that Ensign had an affair - what's catching my attention is the woman's husband - he's really starting to seem like a guy who's mad because his Golden Goose isn't (and it's hard to stay polite here) paying out any more. Any media outlet that got a letter like this would reasonably check it out and it would make sense that people they approached for verification might let the Senator know. Can anyone see an 'appropriate' reason this guy might be going to the press?

WASHINGTON – Roland Burris announced Tuesday he was rejected for Barack Obama's Senate seat, in a bizarre rainy-day scene on the Capitol grounds as lawmakers awaited the gaveling of the 111th Congress into session.
Standing amid a huge throng of reporters and television cameras in a cold and steady rain, Burris, 71, declared that he had been informed that "my credentials are not in order and will not be accepted."
The former Illinois attorney general said he was "not seeking to have any type of confrontation" over taking the seat that he was appointed to by embattled Gov.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Senate Democratic leaders are working hard to suppress dissent within their party over boosting agency spending by 8 percent as the government runs whopping deficits and constituents are forced to scrimp on their own budgets.
Coming to the rescue are a few Republicans standing ready to help pass the pending $410 billion catchall spending bill - and allow lawmakers in both parties to get the thousands of pet projects they crave and above-inflation budget increases for favorite programs like education.
A close vote is expected late this week to advance the sweeping spending bill, which wraps together the budgets for 12 Cabinet departments and other agencies, to President Barack Obama.

Senator No: Jesse Helms
If you live in North Carolina tune to PBS's UNC-TV at 9 PM tonight and watch the premiere of Senator No: Jesse Helms. I am associated with the filmmaker and some of the images used in the documentary came from the library where my husband works. For those of you interested, Jesse Helms was an arch-conservative North Carolina senator.
