Jerry Seinfeld hasn’t exactly gotten the greatest reputation this last year. A lot of it had to do with his wife Jessica possibly plagiarizing the majority of her cookbook . And then Jerry making fun of the woman she plagiarized from on national television.

Humor is one of those things that is totally subjective and completely open for debate. A lot of people think that in order for something to be truly funny, it has to be risky or offensive. And while I don’t agree with that, safe humor is never quite as good as the jokes that walk a much finer line.

Jessica Seinfeld, cookbook author and wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, is being sued by the author of another kitchen how-to, accusing her of copyright infringement and defamation.
Missy Chase Lapine, author of The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids' Favorite Meals, filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in New York on Monday alleging Seinfeld plagiarized Lapine's book in writing her cookbook Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Getting your Kids Eating Good Food, published six months later.

No joke: Microsoft is pulling its critically-panned TV ads starring Jerry Seinfeld and Microsoft co-founder and chairman Bill Gates.
Microsoft spokesman Frank Shaw denied the ads were getting yanked because of negative buzz (some claimed the spots were a poor attempt to counter Apple's "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads).
"All along we said we were having a teaser campaign," Shaw insisted.

No laughing matter: Jerry Seinfled's brakes failed – and his vintage car flipped over – in the Hamptons Saturday night. But the comedian walked away unscathed.
The ex Seinfeld star was driving solo at 7:40 p.m.
