Republican bullhorn Rush Limbaugh praised Angelina Jolie yesterday on his radio show, saying she makes more sense than the Democrats when it comes down to the issue of Iraq.
Here’s what Rush, 57, had to say about Angie:
“Everybody today is raving about a piece in the Washington Post by Angelina Jolie in which she just got back from Iraq. She says, ‘We have finally reached a point where humanitarian assistance, from us and others, can have an impact.’ Her point is to stay, help the Iraqis, especially those who are out of the country, want to come back home, the time is right now, and that the surge is working.

NEW YORK - For all the talk of new politics and a new start with a new administration, the media person who has emerged as the chief voice of opposition during the first week of Barack Obama's presidency — Rush Limbaugh — has been doing this for 20 years.
The talk-radio titan said, days before Obama was sworn in, that he hoped Obama failed because he didn't believe in the incoming president's policies.
It's kept him in the headlines ever since, to the point where MSNBC TV on Thursday asked: "Is Rush running the GOP?"

On his radio show Friday, Rush Limbaugh suggested that Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) would be dead by the time health care reform legislation passes. "Before it's all over, it'll be called the Ted Kennedy memorial health care bill," the talk show host says.

Take that Newt Gingrich. Two weeks ago, the former Speaker warned that more NY-23-style fights in the GOP family would re-elect President Obama and make Nancy Pelosi “Speaker for Life.” But on Rush Limbaugh today, Sarah Palin said these primary fights are the way to win over swing voters.
Mary Bruce was listening…
Speaking to Rush Limbaugh today, Sarah Palin supported the idea of a third, independent party, but said America wasn't quite ready for it.

She is much more Religious Right then I like in Conservative politicians, but I still found her interesting.

Right-wing radicals are already pinning presidential ambitions on a mother-of-five from Minnesota who calls herself a 'fool for Christ' and condemns Obama as a socialist at the head of a gangster regime
