Hi Fit,
I recently started running outdoors and am really enjoying it. It's started to cool off, and breathing in the cold air really burns my throat and lungs when I jog. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this?

Recently, I've gone neon. I felt like I was taken by surprise by a few cars on my autumn runs. Maybe it was a combination of the iPod or the changing trees? (I guess with all the foliage etc its harder to see runners?) Anyway, I started running in this Nathan hi-vis running vest, and I have to say...

I recently started running with this guy who I've been friends with since high school. It's AWESOME to have someone else to run with a few days out of the week to mix things up a bit and keep me motivated. He's faster than me so sometimes I find myself getting frustrated or overly competitive too.

Since this is a running forum I was just wondering if anyone is into le parkour (PK) or free running. Basically it was founded by two French guys, David Belle and Sébastien Foucan though initially it started out as a same sport le parkour and free running are different. You know the chase sequence in Madagascar in Casino Royal?

This is the new bridge in Boston, the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge. I love driving on it, I love looking at it and most of all I love taking pictures of it.I took it on a Canon Rebel XTi with the kit lens

Sometimes when I go for a run, halfway in a foot will start getting numb. Does this happen to anyone else? How bad is it and is there anything I can do?

You know those mornings when you
hit the snooze 5 times and are running
late, hardly time to brush your teeth,
let alone time to wash and style your hair. Here
are a couple of tips to freshen, at least your hair,
for the day. (DO take the time ot brush your teeth).
Powder Your Roots
So your hairline does not look greasy: Dig up a big, fluffy makeup brush, or a big cottonball and dip it into a
pot of after shower powder/body talc. Tap it once on the back of your hand to remove the excess, then dust
it over your roots. It mops up oil and blends into your strands, so no one will know you didn't shower.
Scent Strands with Perfume
Spray a light shot of fragrance into the bristles and run it through strands from roots
to ends and your hair will smell amazing throughout the day.

On New Year's day this year, I had a snowboarding 'incident.,' which included a trip to the E.R. and wearing a splint for a couple of weeks. During that time I took my exercising very easy.
