One of my favorites places in Rome is the church of San Luigi dei Francesi (St. Louis of the French), which is situated near Piazza Navona, Piazza Sant'Eustachio, and the Pantheon. A coffee lover's note, Cafe Sant'Eustachio has been serving the best coffee, espresso, cappuccino in Rome for over 60 years; this cafe is not to be missed!!!!

I actually bought this entire outfit (except for the boots and sunglasses) in Barcelona before going to Rome. I find it funny how the unknown girl behind me is looking at me weirdly because I'm just standing in a ball, posing.

Al Pacino will be honored at this year's Rome Film Festival in October with the Marcus Aurelius Lifetime Achievement Award. The prize will form part of the festival's tribute to the New York Actors Studio, which Pacino is a part of.
He says, "Thank you for bestowing your Marc'Aurelio Acting Award on me.

Slowly, but surely, I am trying to write about different artists and bring attention to some of the galleries and museums that are not as well known, especially as many of our sugar friends are planning trips to various locales throughout the world.
I welcome all of you to post your favorite artsy haunts and or paintings/photographs/sculptures/installations that have meaning for you as well.
Everywhere you look in Italy, you will come upon a famous painting, church, fountain, sculpture, etc., the country is lush with beauty in all forms whether it be art, food, culture, fashion, music and life itself.

OK I got this idea, of recreating celebs outfits, a few days ago, actually last week when I first saw miss Rachel at the Colosseum in Rome for Jumper Premier. I just didn't have the time to do it until now...Ladies please have mercy on the comments because this is my first time when I'm actually building a set on Polyvore, and I don't really think I did an amazing job :D It will get better I promise. I wasn't able to find the right scarf, one that resemblance more to the one she's wearing, or those Christian Louboutin boots...I'll use time again as an excuse :D
Jeans: from Shopbop, Top: Forever2, Scarf: Alexander McQueen - net-a-porter, Leather Jacket: Topshop, Boots: Maison Martin Margiela - Brownfashion

Does anyone watch Rome? My husband started watching it early on, but I just started watching it and REALLY getting into it. Does anyone else like the show?

As the New Moon breaks records, attention should be brought to a trailer with a release date in March of 2010. No, not Eclipse, but rather Remember Me, a film which could legitimize Robert Pattinson as an actor and not just a Teen Beat cover boy.
Remember Me is filled with an amazing cast: the impeccable, Academy Award winner Chris Cooper, Pierce Brosnan and Lena Olin.

Intro/Preface
Shi was kind of enough to suggest this group as a place to write/talk about my recent 8 day trip (not including flight travel days) to Italy with my boyfriend. We visited Rome, Florence and Venice. And we also visited Siena and a small town called Empoli while in Florence.

ROME (Reuters) - An art collector has found a tooth, thumb and finger of the renowned Italian scientist Galileo Galilei who died in the 17th century, Florence's History of Science museum announced on Friday.
The body parts, along with another finger and a vertebrae, were cut from Galileo's corpse by scientists and historians during a burial ceremony held 95 years after his death in 1642.
Giovanni Targioni Tozzetti, a science historian who cut away the parts and wrote about the ceremony, "confessed he had found it hard to resist the temptation to take away the skull which had housed such extraordinary genius," the museum said.
