Everything started with a tweet:@KatieSue617 is it just me or does it look like somthing is wrong with Rob's left nipple in the clocktower scene?I didn't notice it, I was looking "somewhere else" in that scene :) But apparently a lot of people noticed Robward's "wonky" mipple (mipple = man nipple). While twitter peeps were discussing this very important "Left Mipple Gate" issue we got another tweet:RT @PepperMonster He has a tear in his shirt over his left peck & when he takes his shirt off his left nipple has a scar around itSince we never shy away from investigating crap like this (or looking at shirtless Robward pictures) we dug into our HQ files. Let's look at Robward when he walks into the Volturi lair:The shirt is ripped on the left mipple side:Let's look at Robward when he is taking his shirt off:Let's look closer:*stares dreamily*.....*keeps staring*....*comes down to earth*Oh!

Editor's Note: This Tuesday, President Obama will attend a memorial service for the shootings at Ft. Hood last Friday. He would do well to consider that the war policies he's continuing, extending the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, are the underlying cause of acts of madness and desperation by soldiers at Ft.

I´m meeting Robert Pattinson at a restaurant along the Croisette in Cannes. The film company hasn´t disclosed time and place until the day before but somewhere it leaks. A gossip blogger tweets about it and hours before the worlds hottest and most hunted 23-year old is in the house fans and paparazzi gather around the place. They have bodyguards in every corner of the restaurant.

WASHINGTON (AFP) – President Barack Obama has approved the deployment of an additional 13,000 US troops to Afghanistan beyond the 21,000 he announced publicly in March, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.
The additional troops are primarily support forces -- such as engineers, medical specialists, intelligence experts and military police -- the paper said, bringing the total build-up approved by Obama to 34,000.

School Choice Even Obama Supports
By RiShawn Biddle
As a presidential aspirant last year, Barack Obama gained the support of the National Education Association -- and the scorn of school choice activists -- when he declared his skepticism of the school choice and accountability measures in the No Child Left Behind Act. Then in the early months of this year, the newly-elected president further pleased teachers unions when he tacitly allowed congressional Democrats to shutter the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Plan, the school voucher program that helps 1,716 Washington students attend private schools -- even though he avoided sending his own children to D.C.'s abysmal public schools.

ANALYSIS/OPINION:
The Greatest Afghanistan War has deteriorated so noticeably that one can now feel the enemy's growing pulse. Each month it beats steadier, stronger, and in 2010 it will finally be born.

Frank Rich — Afghan War Hypocrite [Rich Lowry] (NRO)
We are experiencing a festival of liberal hypocrisy on the Afghan war, as all the left-wing doves who touted the war as absolutely essential for years back off now that it's no longer a politically convenient war. Note these lines in Frank Rich's column today:
Obama finds himself at that same lonely decision point now. Though he came to the presidency declaring Afghanistan a “war of necessity,” circumstances have since changed.

AUSTIN – Eight months into Barack Obama’s presidency, as criticism of his administration seems to reach new levels of volume and intensity each week, the whispers among some of his allies are growing louder: That those who loathe the nation’s first African-American president, and especially those who would deny his citizenship, are driven at least in part by racism.
It’s a feeling that’s acutely felt among those supporters of Obama who are themselves minorities. Conversations with Democrats at an otherwise upbeat Democratic National Committee fall gathering here, an event largely devoted to party housekeeping, reflected a growing anger at what many see as a troubling effort to delegitimize Obama’s hold on the office.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is objecting “in the strongest terms” to an Associated Press decision to transmit a photograph showing a mortally wounded 21-year-old Marine in his final moments of life, calling the decision “appalling” and a breach of “common decency.”
The AP reported that the Marine’s father had asked – in an interview and in a follow-up phone call — that the image, taken by an embedded photographer, not be published.
The photo shows Lance Cpl. Joshua M.
