Janet Jackson is doing the whole promotional deal with her new album, making the regular circuit of talk shows, magazine covers and in-depth interviews. When chatting with Between The Line News, she was very complimentary when asked about her thoughts on Madonna, saying, "I think she's done wonderful things."
Her explanation of the fan wars between her staunch fans and those of Madonna was as follows, "They're just incredibly loyal and they love you so much that if anyone says anything remotely negative, they're there to just immediately jump on them."

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A feud between rival drug gangs led to a shooting at a backyard cookout that left 12 people wounded, including a pregnant woman and a 2-year-old girl, Baltimore's police commissioner said Monday.
In all, 16 people were shot, two of them fatally, in four incidents in poverty-stricken east Baltimore over a period of about three hours Sunday night and early Monday morning, police said. At least one of the subsequent shootings was related to the attack at the cookout, Commissioner Frederick H.

A fast-food cook and Seattle Seahawks fan has been accused of spitting on a hamburger ordered by a man wearing Pittsburgh Steelers attire...(The customer) reportedly traded remarks with an employee about Super Bowl XL in which the Seahawks lost to the Steelers. When the customer opened his food container, he says there was spittle on the burger.
Things like this really make me proud to be a Seahawks fan.
