Remember Knut, the lovable little polar bear who was almost euthanized because his mom rejected him? Well apparently he’s become a raging little psychopath, just like the rest of us do when our moms reject us. According to one of his handlers, Knut is a major diva, bordering on Diana Ross status.

A Geek is the best ever! Months ago, okay, fine, back when Knut the controversy surrounded Berlin Zoo polar bear orphan baby was super cute and fluffy and posing with Leo-y, I caught wind that there were Knut gummy candies being made in his fuzzy wuzzy honor. A Geek is super good at the Ebays, so I asked if he could get his hands on some for me considering: a) I love gummy candy ESPECIALLY Haribo brand (which these are) and b) I love Knut.

I know this is a touchy subject for many people....
When baby Knut was born, he and his brother were abandoned by their mother... so zoo keepers chose to raise him themselves.

Who would want to kill this baby?
BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- Berlin Zoo's abandoned polar bear cub Knut looks cute, cuddly and has become a front-page media darling, but an animal rights activist insisted Monday he would have been better off dead than raised by humans.
"Feeding by hand is not species-appropriate but a gross violation of animal protection laws," animal rights activist Frank Albrecht was quoted as saying by the mass-circulation Bild daily, which has featured regular photo spreads tracking fuzzy Knut's frolicking.
