Physicians Formula has come out with a new line of cosmetics, called Organic Wear. The line is completely, 100% organic makeup! I am using a couple of products from Organic Wear.

I was out food shopping with a friend for Baby J and her boyfriend ;) Baby M. We saw many products labeled organic and natural and wondered what the real difference was. After some research on the USDA site Baby M's mom discovered the following and I thought I would pass it along.

Non-Organic Organic Food
by Jim Hightower
When it comes to a healthy diet, I am not a purist. Too late for that because I grew up eating such culinary concoctions as toasted sandwiches constructed of Spam, white bread and that oddly orange, oddly spongy cheeselike stuff known as Velveeta.
As an adult, I even have been irresponsible enough to serve as a taster, judge and promoter of Spam creations that were served at a now-defunct annual event held in my town of Austin, Texas.

Not long ago I had an apple problem. Wavering in the produce section of a Manhattan grocery store, I was unable to decide between an organic apple and a nonorganic apple (which was labeled conventional, since that sounds better than "sprayed with pesticides that might kill you"). It shouldn't have been a tough choice--who wants to eat pesticide residue?--but the organic apples had been grown in California.

The term "organic cotton" is so often thrown around these days that its likely everyone knows what it is - essentially, organically grown cotton. What does that mean exactly? Well, after a bit of research, I'm here to bring you the facts about EXACTLY what organic cotton means, why it benefits you and the environment, and some easy ways to incorporate it into your wardrobe, house wares etc.

FitSugar recently posted "May The Food Be With You: Organic Food Meets Star Wars", which had a great Star Wars themed video about why you should choose organic fruit and vegetables over conventional ones.
If you can't afford to or choose not to buy all-organic (I know I can't afford to!) what do you do? How do you decide what to buy?

Hey you guys so this is sort of an update from a post I made last month about buying an additional organizer. This is coming so late because they sent me the wrong color and I had to return that and wait for them to send me the right color. I got it today and I'm super excited cause it's beautiful.

LONDON (Reuters) – Organic food has no nutritional or health benefits over ordinary food, according to a major study published Wednesday.
Researchers from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine said consumers were paying higher prices for organic food because of its perceived health benefits, creating a global organic market worth an estimated $48 billion in 2007.
A systematic review of 162 scientific papers published in the scientific literature over the last 50 years, however, found there was no significant difference.
