Now that you are getting married, you might find that your birth control needs are changing. Since you are in a monogamous relationship, you don't have to worry about contracting an STI, so birth control methods that weren't an option before may suddenly be perfect for you. Plus, you may want to think about more suitable options depending on whether or not you are planning on having kids.

Okay, so I'm in a bit of a panic currently. I'm going to try and explain my situation and just asking for comments/suggestions/similiar experiences...
I have been on NuvaRing for a year up until this past month, when I was supposed to reinsert a new ring after a week long break (taken out Mon, June 8th - got period Thursday, June 11th - needed to reinsert a new ring on Monday, June 15) - However, my prescription expired and I didn't reinsert a new one until two days ago, on Friday, June 19th (when I had a gynecologist appointment and she wrote me a new prescription).

For the last, oh, ten years or so, I feel like I've been on every form of birth control known to man. I know that's not entirely true, but when I look back, I remember taking the pill every morning (and different pills over the years!), I remember pulling the patch off every week and facing that disgusting square of hideousness on my skin where it was :BLECH:, and now I watch the little clock on my bathroom sink and wait for it to beep obnoxiously and tell me when it's time to change the nuvaring.
Now, don't get me wrong.

I found this article on Yahoo! Health and I had to search a little for it. My current method of birth control is the nuvaring and I had trouble finding an article current enough to mention it!

I was going to post this in the Dearsugar birth control blog but it became too long and I decided to post this as a blog. I know it is long sorry :(
The birth control pill always made me nauseous so I had to have a low dose. I believe it was Alesse too.
