After her 10-year marriage to Tom Cruise ended in 2001, Nicole Kidman considered "nunneries in Australia that would admit women who had been married," author Andrew Morton claims in his new tell-all, Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography.
Kidman's rep had no comment.
Kidman — who is expecting a baby with husband Keith Urban — has two adopted kids with Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13 — who spend the majority of their time with their dad.

Priest organizes nun beauty contest
MONDRAGONE, Italy - A Mondragone, Italy, priest says he
expects at least 1,000 women to enter his Sister Italia
beauty contest, which is open only to nuns. Father
Antonio Rungi said the Sister Italia contest is a
strictly online venture but he expressed hope that high
participation would allow the event to flourish into a
full-fledged pageant, The Times of London reported
Monday. Rungi said the entrants, who must be between
ages 18 and 40, would be judged primarily on "inner
beauty" and would not be asked to wear swimsuits or any
other revealing outfit.

While shopping in a food store, two nuns happened to pass by the beer,
wine, and liquor section. One asked the other if she would like a
beer.
The second nun answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have
one, but that she would feel uncomfortable about purchasing it.

Eight years after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, Muslim Americans — particularly Muslim-American women — continue to face battles in their struggle for acceptance and the right to wear religious garb in public settings. A new poll from the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life finds that Americans see Muslims as encountering more discrimination than any other religious group. But while Americans are more likely to be familiar with Islam or personally know a Muslim than they were at the time of the attacks, levels of tolerance are lower today than they were in the months immediately following Sept.

I have done some spontaneous trips in the past couple of years - I haven't thought alot of things through about them, like who I'm travelling with or where I'm going to stay or whether I have enough money to get through it. Makes it more fun, I always say - the suspense keeps me guessing, wanting more and the excitement of it being a risky business keeps adrenline at a constant high. It also gives me the freedom to come up with plans as I go along.
