Treehugger posted today about these bags made out of old newspapers for shops to use instead of plastic when customers don't bring their own bags.
These have been around for forever in India and it seemed to me that people there made their own or got local people to make them as a means of employment. These bags cost 50 cents each!

Paul McCartney is planning on giving away his newest album, which has been out for months, in the Daily Mail on May 18th.
How come we don’t get CDs in our newspapers???

Tne reason for the decline of newspaper circulation is that 42 million Americans are illiterate and roughly 50 million more are semi-literate, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Christopher Hedges says. What’s more, he adds, 80 percent of U.S. households last year did not buy a book.
