Networks to Obama: “NO”
2009 September 5
by DanaLoesch
.As Obama’s approval rating tanks, so does the generosity of broadcast networks.
President Obama’s televised primetime addresses are becoming a tougher sell to the broadcast networks than his sweeping health care reform has been to Middle America.
A day after news broke of the president’s plan to address a joint session of Congress on health care issues in primetime Wednesday, none of the Big Four networks have said it would carry the address live.

Walkman, at 30, a mystery to teen
Alejandro Martinez-Cabrera
What better way to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Sony's iconic Walkman than to ask a teenager for some feedback on the device?
The BBC couldn't think of one, and neither can I.
I like to imagine that the experience was similar to an archaeologist rediscovering how a recently excavated artifact was employed thousands of years ago.

All You Need Is Diplomacy
Hillary Clinton's world tour.
by James Rosen
With the demented face of Heath Ledger's splendidly wicked Joker flickering on the drop-down screens behind her, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stood serenely in the aisle of the press cabin aboard her plane, beverage in hand, and spoke off the record for almost 30 minutes. She had just logged 20,000 miles on her first foreign trip as the nation's top diplomat, a weeklong tour of Asian capitals that had taken her, and some 20 journalists, to Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and China.

MOSCOW (AFP) – Russian media has been poking fun at US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after she gave her Russian counterpart a "reset" button with an ironic misspelling.
Clinton's gift to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at their meeting in Geneva on Friday evening was meant to underscore the Obama administration's readiness to "to press the reset button" in ties with Moscow.
But instead of the Russian word for "reset" (perezagruzka) it featured a slightly different word meaning "overload" or "overcharged" (peregruzka).

Walter, a friend of my parents had written abt his two crashes in life. The first was his first wife and the second one was Microsoft… Today he was amused abt the bugs with Microsoft but I do not think that he was amused abt his first marriage… A marriage is not a computer or? My long term relationship with Fredy was also not a computer even so he had been a system engineer with computers… LOL
