Forest Whitaker will star and direct a Louis Armstrong biopic,the first bigscreen project to be authorized by the legendary musicians estate.
The film is titled after Armstrong’s well known song “What a Wonderful World,” and Ron Bass, is slated to write the original script. Oscar Cohen, executive of the Armstrong estate and the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation will co-exec produce with Bass.

After venting here in sugarland of what I'm going through at the moment and getting such kind and thoughtful comments back from some really good sugar friends, I just wanted to say, "Thank you."
So much has been going on this week with part-time job, new internship, and school that I feel like it's too much for me to handle. Hopefully with this semester ending soon I can just relax without thinking about academics.

Amid headline-making speculation about her marriage, her release from jail and her topping a British Rich List with earning power of $20 million, Amy Winehouse may soon add one more line to her resumé: James Bond titles singer.
Music producer Mark Ronson confirms to the BBC that the troubled soul diva, 24, is working on the theme song for the upcoming 007 release, now in production: Quantum Of Solace, starring Daniel Craig.
Ronson, 32, did not guarantee the song's placement in the finished film, however, but said: "Hopefully it will get used.
