KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Susan Dahl had spent four months homeless in Colorado and just been on a harrowing 10-hour bus trip through sleet and snow. Hungry and broke, all she wanted to do was get back to family in Minnesota.

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too high
Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say
{Refrain
Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say
{Refrain
No!
Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
The center lights around your vanity
But surely heaven waits for you
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry (don't you cry no more)

Here's a video storm chasers took of the tornado that hit Greensburg. That thing was massive! You can see it whenever the lightening strikes.

Chances are that if you’ve been in a relationship, and you’re a woman, you’ve probably faked an orgasm. But did you know that men fake them too?
The research that brings us this important sexual discovery was conducted at the University of Kansas on 180 male and 101 female college students.

Congratulations to the Kansas Jayhawks on a great national championship victory...and congrats to Ramiele Malubuy for winning the Team Sugar bracket! :cheer:
The Jayhawks defeated the Memphis Tigers 75-68 in overtime last night. The game was pretty close and went back and forth all evening before Memphis took a nine-point lead with 2:12 left in regulation.

It was David Cook day in Kansas City (his hometown of Blue Springs is a suburb to KC) and he did everything from giving the weather report on the local Fox station to throwing the first pitch at the Royal's baseball game. This is video of him singing Living on a Prayer at our downtown outdoor venue. Check out http://media.myfoxkc.com/idol/index.html for photos & videos of David's entire day.

The surprise revenue source to pay for much of the Obama budget is something known deceptively as "climate revenues," also known as "cap-and-trade." What cap-and-trade really means is tax and spend -- at an unprecedented level and with sweeping consequences throughout the economy, both nationally and in Kansas. It's the worst kind of tax hike -- a hidden tax hike, hidden behind a complex regulatory scheme that only adds to the cost.
