Surreal” is a word that perfectly suits Robert Pattinson’s life at the moment.
Not only is the up-and-comer adjusting to a new, hyper-famous life after Twilight’s rabid fan base sunk their teeth into his brooding portrayal of the undead romantic hero Edward Cullen (and became as addicted to the newly minted star as the saga’s vampire clan is to hemoglobin), he’s also playing the famed Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in his latest film. Little Ashes chronicles Dalí’s formative years at university, where he became embroiled in a complex, obsessive and sexually charged relationship with future poet Federico García Lorca.

Since we are nearing the Stanley Cup playoffs, I thought it would be fun to highlight the personal side of players around the league. The other day, Lady Penguin, posed the question about the various "do-gooder" deeds that players and teams in the NHL partake.
Trolling around on the National Hockey League Site, I saw this piece penned by Marcie Garcia, an NHL.com correspondent, on George Parros (Anaheim Ducks) and thought it would be an ideal story to post.

As most of you know, opening in less than 2 weeks is Summit Entertainment’s "Twilight" movie. The film is based on the hugely successful Stephenie Meyers book and it’s the story of Bella and Edward….
In case you’re one of the few that doesn’t know the story, "Twilight" is a modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire.

"Close the curtains," requested our 2 year old grand-
daughter, sitting in a pool of bright light. "The sun's
looking at me too hard."
My friend asked our grandson when he would turn 6.

Dane Cook is definitely one to speak his mind. And he's not too thrilled with the way the promotional poster for his upcoming movie My Best Friend's Girl has come out, so he has let 'er rip! Here's what Dane has written on his official blog:
"Dear Diary
Before the downpour let me just say that my new movie, "My Best Friends Girl," is the best / funniest film I've done yet.

One of the things I find eternally confusing about Hulk Hogan is how he manages to be holier-than-thou. That’s a pretty tough attitude to pull off, especially for someone who has sported a bleached-blond mustache for the last thirty years. Hulk went on Larry King to talk about his suck-ass family – specifically his worthless son Nick, whose drunken drag racing accident left passenger John Graziano a vegetable for life.
