There's been a lot of talk on the site lately about the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils....
So I thought I'd do some swatches for you guys who haven't seen them yet.
There are two sets that Urban Decay brought out, the fan favourite of the Holiday season of 2007 and a new set for 2008.

Hi! My first time using green on my lids.
For this look, instead of using my usual neutral browns (like Satin Taupe or Magnetic Fields), I used Glided Green pigment from the MAC Color Forms collection.

Fort Hood Massacre: A Day of Courage and Cowardice
A self-described "devout Muslim" who praised suicide bombers opens fire on brave American soldiers — and most people in the mainstream media insist there is no sign of terror.
November 6, 2009 - by Bruce Bawer
The brave soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood had trained to fight the jihadist enemy abroad. But they seem to have ended up being murdered by the same enemy on American soil, in a place where they thought they were safe — murdered, apparently, because a series of military and medical officials recognized what was going on with this major and chose to do nothing about it.

This past weekend, I traveled to my parents’ house to spend some quality with the fam. My sister, who is still at home on ‘winter break’ from college (remember those days?) was rocking the most amazing eye makeup eva – and I couldn’t stop staring. Finally, I asked what she was wearing – and she produced a brand-new Sephora bag with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deviant and Sephora Waterproof Mascara in Blue 02.

So here is another colored eyeliner that I'm totally in love with. This liner also has a gel-like application that makes it glide right on the eye, and it also has glitter in it as well! (a fine shiny purple glitter).

I just finished Portrait of a Lady last night, and I just want to say, wow! I read Daisy Miller a few years back and while I enjoyed it, it was not memorable and it was too short for me. So when I picked up my second novel by Henry James, I wasn't sure what to expect.

This eyeliner in Zero (black) is next on my beauty buy lists. My little sister has it, and when I'm over at my mom's house, I am constantly looking for opportunities to snag hers and wear it...she doesn't like sharing her makeup! ;)
You can get it at Sephora for $16.

While at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground.
“That’s my son over there,” she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide.
“He’s a fine looking boy” the man said.

A “Lost” Fact in the “Rathergate” Mess — Part 1
What seems like a long, long time ago Dan Rather was a very powerful force in American journalism. He not only was the anchorman of the CBS Evening News, he was also the face of the network’s renowned news division — the “Tiffany” network of bigger-than-life legends like Ed Murrow, Walter Cronkite, Eric Sevareid, Mike Wallace and many, many others.
That was then. Now Dan Rather is suing the network that employed him for 44 years, asking for $70 million dollars in damages. Technically, the lawsuit is about a dry legal issue — breach of contract. But it is also about something much more personal to Rather: his legacy. It is a lawsuit, fundamentally, about saving Dan Rather’s reputation.
That reputation took a turn for the worse back in 2004. As has been widely reported, just 55 days before a very close presidential election, Dan Rather and his producer Mary Mapes put a story on the weekday edition of 60 Minutes that brought on the media equivalent of World War III. There were accusations that Rather, Mapes, and maybe the entire CBS News Division had set out to deliberately destroy George W.
