(CNN) -- A legacy of President George W. Bush will be that he saved 10 million lives around the world.
His critics ignore it, but name another president about whom one can say that with such certainty.

I read a review in the March 2008 issue of Elle Magazine, titled 'Blood Simple' and I really liked the review and interview of the author. Unfortunately I can't find the article on the internet but I found another review of the book that will have to do from the NY Times. I just feel like it's a interesting take on George W and how he got to where he is, by looking at his family history/background.

I read an article on Newsweek (July 17, 2006 issue) via msnbc.msn.com that discusses if President Bush is as "green" as he claims to be. Here are the arguments for both sides:
CONVERSATIONIST ARGUMENT: "Bush's aides say the president is unchanged—he has always been an ardent conservationist—and have their own take on his record. On the highways, Bush has set rules to improve the fuel consumption of light trucks and SUVs.

George H.W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States, began his career in public service as a Navy pilot flying a torpedo bomber off the USS San Jacinto in the South Pacific during World War II. Today, at the age of 84, he caps that career with the official commissioning of the USS George H.

- As president, Barack Obama has mentioned Jesus Christ in a number of high-profile public speeches — something his predecessor George W. Bush rarely did in such settings, even though Bush’s Christian faith was at the core of his political identity.
- Obama’s public embrace of his Christianity so far has not included choosing a church in the capital, and he has attended Sunday services only once since his election, on Easter Sunday.
