In 2004 I was living in east Oakland and was lucky enough to be near the maelstrom when Gavin Newsom gave the approval for San Francisco City Hall to conduct same sex marriages. It was a beautiful thing to be around. I think same sex partners should have the right to be married.Okay, sooo ridiculous! Seriously.
