Yesterday I was feeling pretty excited because after four months of waiting, next week I'm finally going home to see my boyfriend of three years. I'm currently overseas for work, but we're from different cities originally anyway. But today, we were discussing travel plans for a work conference we're both going to. I thought we could stick around near the conference and have a little holiday afterwards. The thing is - my boyfriend still lives with his parents - in the suburbs and there's not much around. He still has a single bed. When I stay, I sleep on a mattress on his floor. It's not terrible, but I think I will start to feel awkward if I stay there for too long as there's not much privacy, so I want to spend some time away. I will visit my parents too, which he will probably join me in reluctantly, but I figure the more time away the better, especially as I'll be trying to get work done as well.Realistically, is he good for me? I've never been so torn.
