The following is a copy of an email I received this week from the Obama camp. Apparently Fox is one of the few media outlets which is dispensing REAL information and it is making Obama and his minions nervous. Seems they have forgotten our country has "FREE SPEECH" which includes the ability to have opinions which may not agree with those of our lofty leader.
The democrats are SO scared that they actually are spending a great deal of money to attempt to thwart FOX NEWS and their ability to perhaps share some inconvenient information that Obama is really uncomfortable about ANY of us reading. Interesting isn't it! A president of the United States is advocating limiting our free speech and fair information! That smells like a rat. NOTE: I did not change this email except removing their links. I refuse to help them in this goal.
Dear MoveOn member,
All year, FOX has worked 24/7 to block President Obama's agenda—repeating lies about "death panels," promoting Tea Party protests, and whipping up fake political scandals.1
Now, President Obama is fighting back.

GOP senator says Obama showing Nixonian tendencies
WASHINGTON – The third-ranking Senate Republican said Wednesday the Obama administration appears to be launching a Richard Nixon-like political strategy of making an "enemies list" of people who disagree with the president.
Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, who once worked in President Nixon's administration, warned the White House that such a "street brawl" approach of attacking political opponents "can get you in a lot of trouble."

First: This is NOT a liberal platform...but is a "freedom of speech" platform.
Welcome to a place to take liberties. I welcome your views, your ideas, and the political opinions of everyone.

A New York businessman dubbed by a prosecutor as “Hizbullah’s man in New York City” was sentenced Thursday to nearly six years in prison for airing the Hizbullah-sponsored Al Manar television station to his New York customers.
The businessman, Javed Iqbal, a Pakistani immigrant, was ordered by a federal judge in Manhattan to serve 5 years and 9 months for broadcasting the Lebanese terrorist organization’s network among stations he sent to his New York customers.
Iqbal ran his business from a Brooklyn storefront and the garage of his Staten Island home, which had satellite dishes in his backyard.

The NY Times has joined the dance being performed by Team Obama, which has decided to try 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a Manhattan Federal Court - the accused is now a "suspect":

WASHINGTON — Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the self-described mastermind of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and four other men accused in the plot will be prosecuted in federal court in New York City, a federal law enforcement official said early Friday.
By way of contrast, the WaPo is going with "Accused 9/11 mastermind".

Kurt from Glee has nothing to do with this story, but the picture of the kid in question was too small
For one thing, he's smart. Scary smart. A student in the West Fork School District in Washington County, he skipped a grade this year, going directly from the third to the fifth.

Distancing Obama

SECURITY CHECK
While it is true that alleged Fort Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, never served in an any role for the Obama Administration's transition team, the White House was concerned enough about Hasan's appearance on a list of attendees at a homeland security conference that it ran a check on Hasan before President Obama made impromptu remarks about the shooting last week.
"You hate to say it, but this is what it's come to," says a White House source.

I thought this would be an interesting tie in from Tulipe's earlier post.
On the night of Nov. 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall — the stark, menacing symbol of the Cold War — came crashing down, suddenly and dramatically.
