Emotional unavailability means that for whatever reason, you are choosing to honor protection of your heart instead of love. Protecting your heart is understandable, and sometimes even wise, if you need a period of strength building and rejuvenation between relationships or even while recovering from a life tragedy during a relationship. However, if you are in a relationship and still making yourself unavailable to love and be loved for an extended length if time, take a look at whether this defense mechanism—designed to protect you—is working against you by blocking the flow of love.

Relationships are full of emotions. Our feelings can range in any given moment from one end of the spectrum to the other. They are affected not only by the circumstance that triggered them but also by factors such as how much sleep we’ve had, how much stress we’re under, whether we’ve eaten, hormone levels, grief, and illness.

When you are depressed like in TV Shows, you may pig out. If you are mad or sad you probably will eat. If you are bored, your going to roam over to the kitchen fridge and look for a carbby snack.

The Jackson family – missing their most famous member, Michael, as well as Jermaine – made a rare group appearance Thursday night to pick up a prestigious music-industry award.
As parents Katherine and Joseph Jackson smiled and applauded all during the show, Janet Jackson introduced brothers Tito, Randy, Jackie and Marlon as they received their Icon award at the 8th Annual BMI Urban Awards – and at one point, being overcome with emotion, had to pause to regain her composure.
"Family is the most important commodity that all of us have," she said after taking the stage as Ray J, Bobby Valentino, Mario, and Lloyd sang "Never Can Say Goodbye."

On the outside I tend to be as hard as a rock. Nothing seems to affect me, I am pretty cool and aloof. I tend to think of showing emotion as a sign of weakness.
