Springing out of Fall w/out breaking the bank
Today is the first morning that I can step out of my house, go to work and start my day off without having to wear a sweater or jacket. The weather has been really warm in LA but just a tad chilly in the A.M. but at the same time I'm not ready to get rid of my fall pieces.

By CHARLIE SAVAGE (NYT) Published: September 15, 2009 WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has declared that President Obama can disregard a law forbidding State Department officials from attending United Nations meetings led by representatives of nations considered to be sponsors of terrorism. Based on that decision, which echoes Bush administration policy, the Obama administration sent State Department officials to the board meetings of the United Nations’ Development Program and Population Fund in late spring and this month, a department spokesman said. Squirrels briefly kill power in 2 cities
ASHLAND, Wis. - It was an unlucky day for two squirrels and hundreds of Midwestern power customers. Brian Elwood, a spokesman for Xcel Energy, said a squirrel came in contact with an overhead transformer and knocked out service to 177 customers Monday.
