Pat O’Brien just can’t keep his trap shut - and it’s costing him his career. This is the married guy who left explicit voice mails for a co-worker (the infamous “hookers and coke” voicemail), trying to convince her to engage in a threesome with him and another woman (NOT his wife), only to be demoted from his position as lead anchor on “The Insider” and sent off to rehab. Now, the tanorexic host is being fired for an e-mail he sent out to his entire workplace, slamming co-host Lara Spencer.

I just want to thank all of you for your educational emails over the past year.
Thanks to you, I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel.
I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels.

Between myself, my boyfriend and some friends we are always sharing funny e-mails with each other. I'm sure lots of others do the same. Yesterday one of my friends sent me a fun e-mail with the subject "The YES and NO Game" Basically there were some funny questions where you only had to answer yes or no to them.

For the last couple of weeks, I no longer received e-mails when I receive a private message, a gift or tip, a guestbook entry, friends new posts, invitation to group, etc.
I have checked my preferences, and they are the same as they've always been (all of the e-mail boxes are checked). I'm including a screenshot:

On Tuesday Msat wrote a story that’s gotten a lot of press attention lately, in which a singer named Lennon Murphy said Yoko Ono had sued her to prevent her from using the name Lennon for her band. Many people were disappointed in Yoko, especially considering that she has done a lot of work to promote the arts. While the issue is complicated, Yoko has not in fact filed a lawsuit or anything close to it.

Do you hate getting those "get rich quick" scams in your e-mail inbox? I do. These are an example of scams that were outed:

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Work colleagues who spend their day gossiping, organizing their home lives, or who press "reply all" on e-mails are among the biggest nuisances in the office, according to a survey released on Monday.
A poll on the biggest pet peeves in the workplace by market researcher Harris Interactive found 60 percent of 2,429 U.S. respondents listed gossip as the biggest annoyance.
