Home Video (www.homevideo.fm) are Collin Ruffino and David Gross, transplants from the misunderstood landscape of New Orleans, now living in the brooding brownstones of Brooklyn, New York. Here they revel in a self-created world of references to Edward Gorey, Massive Attack, The Brothers Quay, Smashing Pumpkins, and a dusting of Chopin, references that they have been collecting for nearly ten years.
They connected in high school art class in 1997.

The Town Halls of August
They're here, they're conservative, get used to it.
by Mary Katharine Ham
It had been a rough month by the time 67-year-old Bert Stead of Redding, Calif., stepped to the microphone at an August 18 town hall meeting with Republican representative Wally Herger. It was about to get rougher.

As a designer, Coco Chanel became synonymous with modernity. She also jumped into bed with the Third Reich. Audrey Tautou, the latest actress to play her, explains why Chanel’s legend is as enduring as a quilted handbag.

Nazis were close to building stealth bomber that could have changed course of history
Published: 7:00AM BST 08 Jul 2009
==========================
Nazi engineers were dangerously close to building a stealth warplane shielded from radar that could have changed the outcome of World War II.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
A prototype of the Horten Ho 2-29 made a successful test flight just before Christmas 1944, but by then time was running out for the Nazis and they were never able to perfect the design or produce more than a handful of prototype planes.
However, an engineering team has reconstructed the bomber – albeit one that cannot fly – from blueprints.

I saw this over at ohnotheydidnt and thought it was really fun to read! I took the most interesting ones from the original post to share here.
"We all love movies, and its interesting to find out that the final cut we see in theatres or on TV isn't always what was originally imagined or intended by the creators.

Although the author makes good and funny points. I think most of us would be fine with a Nightmare remake, if they were using Robert Englund. Take a look and tell me what you think.

"Would you like to touch it?" asks Nicole Kidman.
I lower my hand onto the rounded curve of her stomach.

POOR Miss Piggy. Like most aging stars in Hollywood, that prima donna pig, along with most of her Muppet pals, has struggled to find substantial roles. Almost nobody under the age of 30 remembers “Pigs in Space.” All everyone wants to talk about is this Hannah Montana person.

Hi everyone,
I did this great cat eye today for Kikidawn, I hope you like it girl. If you don't do the hairline and the brows it's a great daring look and if you take away the black line under the eye it's a great cat-eye for day.
I used a dark red, brown and gold, so no green or purple (because that's not catlike to me, if you want you can change up the colours) but with your eyes (green and brown hazel with gold flecks and just a thin ring of blue around them) I think this will look very pretty.
