I'm going to spend three days and two nights with a guy friend of mine who lives in a nearby city. We visit each other on occasion and talk on the phone sometimes, but we've never kissed. Even last time he spent the night at my house we drank wine but he didn't make a move - even though we slept in the same bed!
He is putting a lot of effort into this visit, getting tickets to a play and planning a trip to some local hot springs.

Every story has a beginning, i guess this is how everything started for me.
Ever felt that your teenage life was the most mundane, colorless and lifeless? Ever felt that you don't belong no matter how hard you tried to reach out?

I don't have a very sophisticated palette and am far from a cocktail connossuer. I don't know if I could knock back some Boone's Farm anymore, but, I would rather have a sugary sweet margarita over a glass of fine wine. How about you?

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs coveredwith bright colored lead-base paints..We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps not helmets on our heads. And when we had our sleds, we tied them to the bumper of a car and had a really neat ride as long as you made sure you didn't slide under the car when it stoppedAs infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes.Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and no one actually died from this.We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter or lard and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar. And, we weren't overweight.. WHY?

Considering this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I though this would be a good post.
There's no part of our bodies that we obsess about more than our breasts. Even those of us not prone to health anxiety wonder which, if any, of our everyday habits are upping our odds of getting breast cancer.

Doctors forced to let woman, 26, die
- Depressed over inability to have kids
- Decided to commit suicide
- Doctors faced charges if they saved her
A 26-YEAR-OLD woman who drank poison was allowed to die in a British hospital after handing doctors a living will begging them not to save her life.
Kerrie Wooltorton, who was believed to be depressed about her inability to have children, drank antifreeze at her home before calling an ambulance to take her to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital.
However, when she arrived she handed over a letter, or living will, clearly stating she realised what she had done and did not want doctors to save her life.

The ink's barely dry on the divorce filing between Sean Penn and soon-to-be ex Robin Wright Penn, but the actor didn't waste time getting back on his feet with new girlfriend Jessica White in New York City.
On Friday night, Penn, 49, and White, 25, had dinner at Hotel Griffou (both ordered the chicken and drank vodka) before heading to the Mercer Hotel.
"They were holding hands.
