I went to the dentist this morning for my first examination- the result is my teeth can be saved but the cost is $1000.00 nz dollars, with some root canals and wisdom teeth taken out.
I may be able to get the govt to pay as it is related to the medication I was taking which was seroquel- it rotted my teeth and has caused them to snap off, and when My wisdom teeth came through last year they we rotten when they were growing in my mouth.
It is a relief they can be saved, they don't have to be knocked out and replaced with falses.

Good news Sugars,
For those of you who have been following my story. I now have had my full dental treatment covered by the govt. and i start to get my mouth restored on Tuesday, The whole treatment is $2345.00 nz So that is heaps but better than the last quote which was $5000.00nz ,I don't like going to the dentist but it has to be done.

Much to my chagrin, I visited my dentist for a six–month–cleaning the other day. As a pregnant lady, they let me pass on x–rays that would otherwise harm my unborn child. They did not, however, let me escape scraping my pearly whites with the tartar removing scalpel that sounds like nails on a chalkboard and feels like a jackhammer on my gums.

Kristy Lee Cook seems to have a little acting experience under her belt. She appears in this commercial for Hydrabrush playing a seductive dentist trying to help out her patient who says he's "too fast."
Kind of cheesy sexual reference, but hey the girl needed to pay the bills before American Idol came along!

In the morning I have to visit the dentist and get my mouth revamped...
I am not looking forward to the pain, or seeing the chair....
Do any of you guys dread this too?

One thing a bride wants on her wedding day is a picture perfect smile. Come to think of it - who doesn't want a lovely smile? There's no time like the present to get your smile ready for your big day (this could be graduation, reunion, or a much anticipated vacation too).

This woman goes into a dentist's office for a checkup. After he's through examining her he says:
"I am sorry to tell you this, but I am going to have to perform a root canal"
"Ooooohhhh no," says the woman, "I think I'd rather have a baby!"
"Well make up your mind," says the dentist, "I have to adjust the chair."

A couple of old guys were golfing when one said he was going to Dr. Taylor for a new set of dentures in the morning. His friend remarked that he had gone to the same dentist a few years before.
