JD Robb: In Death Series
In honor of Reading Is Sexy's grand opening, I'm going to start off with the series that's has been holding me in a chockhold for going on 10 years now.
Nora Roberts, writing as JD Robb in her not so far distant future has captured my attention since my very good friend lend me a copy of the 1st of the series, Naked In Death. That copy started me on my 10 year journey of hunting and gathering mission to find and read every one of the books in the series.

Yesterday our country spend a lot of time and effort mourning the life of a celebrity...a celebrity which the media constantly changed its view...seeing him as much a villain as a philanthropist and entertainer. Because of the tremendous focus on this individual a controversy arose--comparing the price of this person's life to that of a soldier. This is my reply to such thoughts...

This interpretation of Death is fascinating - the huge WHITE wings - normally Death is black - so i felt so drawn to place him - give him a new home - on the first picture he is in the sky and on the other one he looks as if he was waiting...
BTW: when cutting off the other background i found out that Death is rather slim ;)

Michael Jackson's death..OH God! When will the news die!!!
I don’t mean to sound disrespectful. I know this man changed things within the music industry and opened a lot of doors for upcoming African American artist everywhere, and that's a good thing. But I will be sooooo glad when tomorrow comes and goes, as you know Michael's funeral is happening.
