Outcry over disowned US rape girl
Offers for help are pouring in for an eight-year-old Liberian girl disowned by her own family in Phoenix, Arizona, after being raped by four boys. The girl is under the care of the Arizona Child Protective Service (CPS) because her parents said she had shamed them, and they did not want her back. Child rapist to be beheaded, crucified
A Saudi court of cassation upheld a ruling to behead and crucify a 22-year-old man convicted of raping five children and leaving one of them to die in the desert, newspapers reported today. The convict was arrested earlier this year after a seven-year old boy helped police in their investigation. Police posted a $20,000 reward Tuesday for anyone who comes to them with information that helps arrest and convict those involved in what authorities describe as a 2½-hour assault on the Richmond High School campus in suburban San Francisco.
