While the rest of the world was waiting in line for the new Harry Potter book, three Canadian fangirls were having an altogether different sort of fannish experience. One of the girls, blue_soaring, happens to live near the bar where one of the opening scenes of Asylum was filmed, and in the wee hours of Saturday morning, the cast and crew of Supernatural returned to the area to shoot scenes for the upcoming season premiere. blue_soaring and her friends were able not only to watch part of the shooting, but also to talk with several members of the cast and crew, including Jensen, Jared, and Jim Beaver (Bobby)!
