This isn't a review and I didn't feel like posting this on 4.0I've read this book when it first came out and I have to say it's pretty darn cute. Doesn't advocate anything really and is based on true story.

The American Library Association's 'most challenged' books of 2008 include Khaled Hosseini's bestseller alongside Philip Pullman's Dark Materials and And Tango Makes Three
Khaled Hosseini has joined the illustrious ranks of Philip Pullman and the authors of a story about gay penguins, after his novel The Kite Runner became one of the books that inspired most complaints in America last year.
The bestselling and critically acclaimed title, the story of a 12-year-old Afghan and his betrayal of his best friend, includes the rape of a boy, and provoked challenges in the US over what objectors saw as sexual content and offensive language. Some objections led to the removal of the book from library shelves, while others saw it replaced with bowdlerised versions minus the offending scenes, according to the American Library Association, which compiles an annual list of the most challenged titles in the country.

Well, there's one way to make sure you stay in the limelight....ban anyone who might be considered competition! Although, I'm really not sure what Megan Fox is worried about...she's gorgeous.
For the upcoming Transformers 2 movie, Megan attended the casting call with the director of the movie and rejected any brunette actresses that came in to try out.

A new federal law may ban children from U.S libraries. The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act requires all children's products to be tested for lead. Since trace amounts of lead can be found in some printer's inks, especially in older booksl, the law may force libraries to exclude kids until every book is tested.

Guess the Brits really don't want Snoop Dogg in their country! The British government is going to extremes to make sure Snoop doesn't enter their country.
Snoop was originally banned from the UK after a brawl at the airport back in 2006 and a judge almost threw the ban out last month insisting that Snoop was harmless.

It's no secret that Mariah Carey is a major diva--the girl has had the diva label since the 90's. Well, it's 2008 and the paparazzi are fed up with her.
As we mentioned earlier this week, Mariah showed up to her own CD signing two hours late and she was wearing sunglasses while she just quickly walked the red carpet.
