I am not married, but I always hear brides say that their wedding night just flew by. Since the bride and groom are busy meeting and greeting all their guests, plus relishing in their new title as husband and wife, it is no doubt that before they know it, the nights over! So, all you married women out there, do tell, what did you remember most about your wedding?

Did you buy yourself a sexy negligee for your wedding night or did your maid of honor light candles and scatter rose petals around your honeymoon suite? While it is expected that all couples consummate their marriage on their wedding night, oftentimes the bride and groom are more concerned about getting some much needed shut eye than actually getting busy. On the other hand, some couples can't wait to make love for the first time as husband and wife.

So what do you all think, even though the bride and groom are probably exhausted from the hype of their big day or just feeling the effects of too much champagne, do you think it is mandatory to have sex on your wedding night?

For single guys and gals, weddings have a reputation for matchmaking - even if that match is sometimes for just one night. After all, you're surrounded by friends, love is in the air, and booze and bad dancing are plentiful. It's no wonder that for some wedding guests, the night ends with a little bit of making out or hooking up with a fellow wedding goer. Some couples even try to seat their single friends next to each other in hopes of making a connection. I've seen it work a few times so have you ever indulged in a wedding hookup?

It used to be that having sex on your wedding night was the official culmination of becoming man and wife. For many people this remains true, but for others, wedding-night sex, while important, just doesn’t hold the same meaning. Some couples are so beat from the big day that all they really want to do is crawl into bed, cuddle, and fall right to sleep. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking that night off, but many disagree. So tell me, do you think sex is mandatory on your wedding night?

Do You Think You Could Have a Last-Minute Wedding?

It's only the third season of Gossip Girl and we're seeing Lily wed for the second time - nevermind her countless marriages before the show! When the last-minute wedding fails to materialize, Lily and Rufus make another snap decision to get married that night in the Humphreys' Brooklyn loft with Sonic Youth as the wedding band (weird!).

I like the idea of a spontaneous wedding, especially when you've had an on-off relationship for 20 years, but I'm not sure I could actually go through with it. Do you think you could tie the knot on the spot without worrying about loose strings?

- Madonna told David Letterman last night that she would rather get hit by a train than remarry. I guess we know we'll never see Madonna in a wedding dress again, unless she's performing "Like a Virgin." Last night, the Material Girl also described her eight-year marriage to Guy Ritchie as the "Bush years." Have you ever felt lucky to be out of a relationship?

Man, if I thought that getting married meant I would never go out again, I don't think I could do it! It's probably not really true (married folks, is it?), but I guess people who market bachelorette party crapola bank on the cliché. In case it's true, I guess you'd need this last night out survival kit. Because on your last night of fun out as an unmarried person, you need a pecker surprise shot glass, pecker nose glasses, and a ball and chain that attaches to your stilettos, right?

Stranger Than Fiction: Pair Marries, Wants Divorce Same Day

What makes this story even stranger for me is that as I read it, I was reminded that I had a dream last night that I got married and immediately regretted it! Perhaps I was having sympathy pangs for the following Polish couple living in Hanover, Germany.

Right after they tied the knot, the 50-year-old groom told his 34-year-old bride that he wanted the marriage annulled and never wanted to see her again. She agreed. (Hmmm. They seem to agree on the fundamentals - if only they'd stuck it out a little longer! You know, like maybe an hour longer.)

Think this is bizarre? It gets weirder. After their civil ceremony, things got pretty uncivil. The unhappy couple began fighting, during which time the disgruntled groom tried to cut his new bride's hair with a kitchen knife. (Which he just happened to be carrying? On the day of his wedding? I'm so confused.)

She called the cops, got a restraining order, and he spent the night in a homeless shelter. Even my dream last night was less baffling than this.

Chelsea Handler: Well, thank you very much.

TS (I realize I kinda ambushed her here!): Are you a feminist?
CH: I feel like focusing on the idea of feminism is saying that we haven't achieved it yet. I believe in behaving at a level and having people meet you at a level that says: I'm a very highly functioning woman.

TS: Christopher Hitchens infamously said that only women who are fat, unattractive, Jewish or lesbian can be funny. How would you respond to him if you could?
CH: Well, I am half-Jewish, so he must have been right.

TS: Do you think humor for women is a defense mechanism, a survival skill? In your case, why did you think you became so funny?
CH: I think people are born the way they are born, and circumstances either add or take away from who you are deep down. I love to laugh, and in turn, love when I can make other people laugh.

TS: What in your past laid the groundwork for the way you see the world?
CH: Probably my father's 10 used cars that were in our driveway my entire life. I would say it was the opposite of rose-colored glasses.

TS: Who are your comic influences and heroes?
CH: I never intended on being a comedian, so it would be dishonest to say that I was
really influenced by anyone other than the idea of expressing my opinions. My brothers, sisters, and parents were definitely the biggest influences in my life.

TS: What’s a typical Chelsea Friday night?
CH: Dinner with friends usually at my house and a plethora of cocktails before, during, and after.

TS: Describe your ideal man. Do you think you’ll ever find him?
CH: Someone who gets the joke. Probably not.

TS: What was the weirdest wedding you ever went to?
CH: The one where the bride was smoking a cigarette in her wedding gown. That was pretty magnificent.

TS: What’s your biggest deal breaker in relationships?
CH:I usually don't break up with guys, I wait for them to break up with me.

TS: What’s your biggest piece of advice to today’s woman?

CH: Be ambitious for not only yourself, but also for the people around you, be generous, and be forthright. Karma is real, and it will reward you if you are doing the same for others.
