I think Geek would agree with me when I say that being a techie has never been cooler. But just because being at the forefront of technology has finally caught on, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your hearts go aflutter every time your IT guy helps you with your computer. In fact, I’m sure some of you still prefer a toolbox or briefcase over a laptop bag.

With a new season comes new trends. If you're a magazine junky like me, it's pretty hard to avoid reading about the new it bag or the trendy new color that'll be hot for the season. While I like to think I have my own unique style, it's inevitable that I pick up a few new habits every season, however some people take trendy to a whole different level.

In a recent story on NPR's "Weekend Edition", affluent, plush mom's are feeling the pressure of keeping up with the Jone's, by having even more kids than the Jone's! In some cities, the trend of having larger families is proving that 4 has become the new 2.
Historically, people have had large families so the kids could help on the farms, or because adults lacked sexual education and birth control, but now, in many cities across the United States, career women choice to stay at home is much more justified if they have more kids to raise.

Are condoms only menswear? Not according to this fashion show. Earlier this month, a reproductive health and technologies expo in China featured a runway show with models clad in color-coordinated condoms.

The iPhone sure took pop culture by storm. Its debut has inspired countless viral internet parodies and even prompted an on-air robbery (doof!), but who could've guessed that it would give rise to a new kind of modeling: iPhone modeling on e-bay. Lovely ladies are doing it, thumbs are doing it, even kitties are doing it-- cuz it's not like these nifty little units can possibly sell themselves, right?

We first had to endure the bikini sculpting skills of this dude. And now someone's devised an even more heartless way to walk the fine line between hairy and scary and stomp all over my libido in the process. Thanks, a lot.

A story printed in the Daily Mail yesterday almost had me in a fit of rage, which is ironic, because it was all about a rage epidemic taking over the "fairer sex" (their term, not mine). New statistics reveal that aggression and physical violence perpetrated by women is at all-time high in the UK. It seems that this trend is particularly newsworthy because rage is considered a masculine emotion, unfit for the ladies.
