Leslie Nielsen from the awesome comedy Airplane! reunited with his cast members on the Today show. But it was hard to focus on what people were saying (Leslie included) because of the fart sounds. As Best Week Ever asked, does Leslie carry a fart machine around with him? Who among us is cool enough to do that? No one.

Matt and Al's Rhythmic Gymnastics: Hilarious or Humiliating?

On the Today show this morning, Matt Lauer and Al Roker performed a men's tandem rhythmic gymnastics routine to the tune of "Dream Weaver." (Note: Men's tandem rhythmic gymnastics is not an actual sport - yet.) The parody was meant to be funny, and their earnest expressions kinda crack me up . . . but I can't help but wonder if Matt is being forced into that Spandex against his will. What do you think?

Robert and Tanya Harris live a modest life in a farming town in Georgia, so imagine their ~~surprise~~ indifference upon discovering that the lotto ticket in their possession was worth $270 million dollars. Winning the jackpot means no more hard hats and no more tools for Robert; he's free to live a life of leisure! Naturally, homeboy is ~~jumping for joy~~ pouting and frowning. Tanya can finally get the Mercedes of her dreams, so she's as ~~elated~~ nonchalant as ever. It's an ~~extraordinary~~ mediocre story of ~~good~~ average fortune, really.

Forget The Hills, New DC Show Covers The Hill

Just when the Murphy Brown reunion on the Today show this week got me all nostalgic for good political TV, it looks like my wish is coming true - reality-style.

The production company behind Miss America: Reality Check (which just aired this winter on TLC) is casting hot young DC residents for a new "soft-scripted" show, a la Laguna Beach - swapping the beach bunnies for a cadre of sexy non-profit Appropriations and Budget Associates. Or something similarly dot.org-y.

Though DC might not be as hot as Laguna, rest assured they're going to juice it up full of jet-setting plot lines. And since the casting is coming straight out of the hot and fast networking site Late Night Shots it won't comply with that old rumor that "Washington is Hollywood for the ugly."

I'm in, a thousand times in. I just have three questions: When, when, when?!

The Today Show: How Rude!

While some young do-gooder is in the middle of delivering a wonderful message about children making a difference in the lives of others, The Today Show abruptly cuts her off to go to a commercial. Who really needs a moral to the story, after all? What we really need is a reminder that the morning show we're already watching is numero uno. I think we got it.
