- Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure with some girlfriends. It's still warm enough outside to wear open toes shoes, so make the best of the time you have left!

British Woman Receives Life Sentence For Smuggling Heroin
Samantha Orobator's saga continues. Orobator, a 20-year-old British woman arrested in Laos for smuggling heroin and tried in a country where drug smuggling is punishable by death, has just been sentenced to life in prison.
Officials in London and the Laotian capital of Vientiane agreed to a prisoner transfer last month, but it won’t take place, according to a representative, until the sentence is finalized with no appeals.

- Pick up knitting! It's beyond relaxing and once you get the hang of it, you can start knitting gifts for the holidays — there's nothing better than a homemade gift.

My employer is taking advantage of me, and I need some serious advice. I work for a family child care facility (a daycare at someone else's home) and the lady that I work for is always bailing on me the second I step in the door. I have been there since September, and every day that I have come into work she has left for hours on end.
Contouring Your Clavicles
Dear Sugar
I am getting married in September and am wearing a strapless wedding gown. As everyone knows, when you wear strapless, the main focus is on shoulders and your clavicles (collarbones.) I am wondering if you know of any make-up secrets or products to help enhance clavicles.
I am not into the large particled sparkle look, but something with a great shimmer and sheen would be ideal.
