Minnesota has Al Franken for senator, so why can't Ohio get Alec Baldwin to run for governor? The timing is perfect. The 51-year-old actor has already announced his plans to retire from acting after 30 Rock wraps up in 2012, and he hasn't exactly been shy about voicing his political ambition.

Did any of you see Saturday Night Live this weekend? If not, you missed a hilarious skit all about "girlfriend voice." Three guys gave each other a hard time about the way their tone changed when talking to their significant other, yet it didn't seem to prevent them from doing it every time their phone rang.

I think we're all familiar with the girlfriend/boyfriend voice: the schmoopy tone you sometimes use with a significant other that's best reserved for private conversations. There's also the work voice, the mom voice, and other bizarre intonations we take on depending on who we're talking to. As Seth Rogen and friends prove in a sketch from this weekend's Saturday Night Live, some of the voices can be downright disturbing.

I'm beginning to think Kristin Wiig could imitate anyone. Here, she is impersonating Suze Orman, the financial advisor with an unmistakable voice, an iconic wedge haircut, Cougar-ific fashion sense, and a way with words. (Does The Courage to Be Rich ring a bell?

On top of being pretty cute, Bradley Cooper is hilarious! He was in on SNL a few weeks ago as Miss B, fabulous swishy runway walking coach on the Today show with Kathy Lee and Hoda Kotb. His best tip?

I had to do a double take when I saw this — and I was prepared for an Angelina impersonator and not the pillow-lipped fan of motherhood herself. During SNL's weekend update about the woman who just gave birth to octuplets, "Angelina" shows up out of nowhere to see if there are any babies left for her. Or Amy Poehler's newborn.

Being the butt of an SNL parody usually means a politician has secured national recognition, but NY Governor David Paterson was none too pleased when the show mocked his blindness this weekend. In the sketch, the New York governor is lambasted for his past drug use, extramarital affair, and the fact that he's legally blind. Paterson, who said he can take a joke, reacted to the sketch today calling it:
A "third-grade depiction of people and the way they look" that could lead others to believe that "disability goes hand in hand with an inability to run a government or business.

With only days to go until election day, John McCain did what he could to get the SNL bump. While Barack Obama paid millions to appear on major networks during primetime last Wednesday, John McCain and Tina Fey, as Sarah Palin of course, opened Saturday Night Live by hosting a QVC sketch. The original maverick pitched pork knives (to cut the pork) and (blank) commemorative plates to help customers remember the 10 joint town-hall debates Barack Obama did not attend.

The costumes were spot-on down to the fetching French braid, and Queen Latifah stepped in quite convincingly as moderator Gwen Ifill — all the details of the Saturday Night Live skewering of the Vice-Presidential Debate were picture perfect. (Even down to Joe Biden calling himself "Joe Biden." Did you catch that on Thursday?)
