Introducing: The Penis Slide

It shows children sliding down a (what else could you call it?!) penis slide, while "Bohemian Rhapsody" performed by that dude who hand-farts music serves as the soundtrack. (David Lynch, are you responsible for this? Well, are you?)

Ask Two Guys About Guys: Why the Incessant Package-Adjusting?

Colin Nissan and Sean Farrell of Don't Be That Guy fame have graciously agreed to answer some burning questions we women folk have about men. You guys were not loving their answer to a woman's question "Why isn't he calling me?" but this week they head into less controversial territory. Check it out!

This week's question: "Why do men need to adjust their packages so much?"

To hear what the Two Guys have to say, read more.

What’s simply written off as a lewd display of machismo is often a great deal more complex.

Climate plays a critical role in male package adjustment. In the humidity of summer months many guys experience what the medical community refers to as Swamp Balls or Jungle Johnson. Shifting things around is often our only hope for relieving this dreaded, Amazonian discomfort. Scientifically speaking, when the crotch heats up, the ball sac loosens, thinning the skin and causing temperatures to rise. Our balls begin to slide haphazardly against one another, not unlike two Jell-O-lubed wrestlers jockeying for position in the ring. It’s our job to step in and separate the two to give them time to cool off.

Underwear physics are also worth discussing. In the world of briefs, sometimes we simply need to push the curious old turtle back into its shell, if you know what we mean (the turtle is our penis.) With boxers, it’s very common for the fabric to ride up into the crevices of our inner thighs and to drag an excruciating pube or two with it. Rolling the fabric down must be done very carefully to minimize the pain, which explains why our hands are actually inside our pants a lot.

Hopefully the next time you see a guy fiddling publicly with his privates, you’ll be able to temper your disgust with a little empathy. It’s no picnic going through life with a penis, balls and a code of decency all at the same time.

Hump Day: Is It Safe to Use Tight Condoms?

Welcome to Hump Day, TrèsSugar's sex advice column. Are you confused about sex? Do you have trouble having an orgasm? Is there something you'd like to try but you're worried it's too weird? Send your questions to TrèsSugar, and our friend Dr. Charlie Glickman from Good Vibrations will offer his sound advice!

Today's Question:

"My boyfriend and I have been dating for a few months and we’re not ready to have sex without condoms, but he says that the ones that we’re using are too tight. We're going to get bigger ones of course, but in the meantime, is it safe for us to use these? I heard that condoms can stretch a lot and fit anyone." To see what Dr. Glickman has to say, read more

You can fit pretty much any condom over your arm, so the complaints that some guys may not fit might be more about their perception than anything else. Unfortunately, we don’t yet live in a world where people can buy condoms with the length and width clearly printed on the label, much less in lots of different sizes. But don’t worry - you have some options.

First of all, adding a little lubricant (a couple drops inside the condom before putting it on) will decrease the chances the condom will break by minimizing the formation of air bubbles in the head of the condom. It will feel better, too. (Avoid lube on the shaft of the penis, which can make the condom slide off.) Latex has more friction than skin does, so a little extra lubricant on the outside can help a lot, too. This probably goes without saying, but never use oils with latex condoms; they can make them break in about 30 seconds!

Another option is to change what brand of condom you’re using. American-style condoms like Lifestyles, Trojan, and Durex are made from a somewhat thicker latex so they’re less sensitive and more tight. That’s not always a disadvantage, since some guys find that the decrease in sensation helps them last longer. But if your boyfriend is looking for something with more stretch, try a Japanese-process condom like Kimono, Skinless Skin, or Paradise. These condoms are made from a thinner, stronger, and stretchier latex so you both get more sensation. And they fit larger penises more easily.

You could also try one of the condoms that feature a larger head. The extra room at the head means that the latex slides back and forth, which provides extra sensation. The shaft of the condom is about the same width as other brands, reducing the chance of it sliding off. Just make sure to use a little lube on the inside since the extra friction can be a bit too much for some guys. Pleasure Plus and Trojan Twisted are popular brands.

Lastly, check out the new Skyn condoms. Instead of the traditional latex, they’re made from polyisoprene. It’s a much stretchier and more sheer material than latex, so they feel great for both people. It’s also a good option for people with latex sensitivities. Polyisoprene is a form of rubber, just like latex, so keep oils away from it.

In closing, here's a list of some of the more common brands and their dimensions. Have fun, and don't forget - if you have a sex question, send it to TrèsSugar!

You Asked: A Little Help With a New Sexual Experience

DearSugar --

I just started dating a wonderful guy who is extremely attentive in the bedroom and I want to reciprocate, but he is uncircumcised and I have no experience in that area. To be honest, I was uneasy even touching him and was a tad worried about how sex would be. Fortunately, it was absolutely fine -- amazing to be exact, so I guess I feel silly and a little guilty about my hang up. Any advice? ~ Eager Ellen

To see DEARSUGAR's answer read more

Dear Eager Ellen --

Sounds to me like you're a lucky girl: a wonderful guy who digs you and is attentive in the bedroom to boot. I'm glad you're the kind of woman who appreciates a good guy and a good lover, so let's see what we can do to help you feel more confident about pleasing him.

The difference, as you've encountered, involves foreskin. When a fella is circumcised, he's accustomed to exposure (brushing against fabric and such), and his penis -- sensitive as it is -- won't be as sensitive to the touch as his uncircumcised brother with a protective foreskin. If your guy seems particularly sensitive, let him direct the show a bit. That's never a bad thing, and most fellows aren't shy about it.

The foreskin contains its very own, super-special nerve receptors; you'll give him a lot of pleasure by gently stretching and sliding the foreskin over the head of his penis, though be careful not to pull or tug his foreskin too roughly. There's a learning curve for anything new, Ellen, so don't let yourself get too anxious or fretful. Uncircumcised or not, every fellow is especially sensitive just below the head on the underside, and you can't go wrong being friendly in that neighborhood.

As for oral sex, you might want to place your tongue into the foreskin and then swirl your tongue around the head, making a circle. Master this, and you master him, Eager Ellen. Also, with your fingers, try softly massaging the head through the foreskin, alternating that motion with some licking. You'll want to pull back the foreskin before rolling on a condom, too. This will help maximize his sensitivity.

Most of all, relax. Be patient. Things generally get better and better this way, for all of us, the more we know our partner. Enjoy him, Ellen. And enjoy yourself with him.

Ladies . . . Anyone else have some tips?

Source
