After getting out of a relationship you've had a dry spell, and you're ready to get back in the game. You've been flirting with a friend of a friend for the past few weeks, and you've been dying for the opportunity to get more intimate with him. On a particularly rough night - you think you might be coming down with something and your ex just called out of the blue - your crush asks to come over to cheer you up. Would it be worse if . . .

This: In the middle of your steamy make-out session, just as he's running his hands through your hair, you accidentally call him by your ex's name? It wasn't a loud mistake, but the look in his eyes as he pulls away is enough for you to know he heard you.

Or . . .

That: As you're having sex (for the first time) you feel your stomach gurgle and before you can do anything about it, you release a particularly loud fart? You'd like to disappear, but instead you're lying there naked and vulnerable.

This or That: He's Too Comfortable or He's Uncomfortable?

If there is such a thing as Mr. Right, you've met him and he really is perfect for you. You guys get along great, he makes you smile, and you both have similar life goals. In fact, you two have become very close in a short period of time. You feel very comfortable with him, which should make some of his grosser habits less bothersome, but even you think it’s too soon for all of the glamour to disappear. Would it be worse if he . . .

This: Had absolutely no problem passing gas wherever and whenever? Okay, it’s only at his place, but still, some things are best left unshared unless it’s an absolute emergency.

Or . . .

That: Can’t seem to stop scratching and groping at his nether regions, with public places as no exception? You’ve offered to buy him some new underwear, but he just doesn’t seem to get it; your friends have even noticed!

When Do You, Um, Let Out Your Unladylike Behavior?

When you first start dating someone, you try to be on your best behavior. You do and say things that make you seem perfectly lovable, so you can win his or her affection.

After that, the relationship starts to change, and you become more relaxed and easygoing with one another. But just how comfortable do you let it get? More specifically, how do you feel about passing gas in front of your new love?

Do you show every aspect of yourself right away, both the good and not-so-good parts? Do you wait until you get to know each other before letting out your true personality (pun intended)? Or do you think that farting in front of your significant other is completely unacceptable and unladylike?

Sex and gas just don't mix, so if you know your stomach is feeling bubbly after a spicy meal, you probably have the good sense to save your intimacy for another time.

You can't always be prepared for things that come up, though (or out, in this case!), so what would you do if you accidentally tooted while getting it on? It's totally mortifying to think about, and I'm sure a lot of people would want to stop immediately, grab their clothes, and run, but some people actually think passing gas is funny. So tell me, what would you do if this happened to you?

They're calling it the "flatulence fallout" cuz the man behind the gun pulled the trigger after getting teased for passing gas. Thankfully, no one was hurt- except for the gunman and his ego. I'd say the news team took a hit too, for covering such a redonkulous story.

Why are dogs so carefree about barking? Why are birds so cavalier about chirping? Why do lions feel they’ve earned the right to roar? I’m not afraid to make a fourth animal analogy if it helps to illustrate the point that these species are meant to do these things - just as guys are meant to fart. It’s our body’s way of communicating with you. It’s saying, “Hey, I feel really comfortable around you, Leslie,” or “Wow, those enchiladas are passing through me like a fu**ing freight train.”

There are plenty of repressed guys out there who actually aren’t big farters, but running into the arms of a gas-free companion might not be the utopia you think it is. If a guy is sealing up his rear hole, then chances are he’s sealing up his other holes too. Like his fun hole and his emotional hole. It’s your choice, you can be with a guy with sealed holes, or you can learn to appreciate a natural, open-hearted gesture for what it is – and instead of rolling your eyes the next time your guy breaks wind, try looking over at him and whispering, “I feel close to you too. Make love to me, you smelly son-of-a-bitch.”
