Jude Law did it, so did Ethan Hawke, but that doesn't mean falling for your kids' nanny is right. Of course you can't help who you love, but you can avoid bringing temptation into your home. If you're one of the lucky ones who can afford a nanny, sometimes her beauty can be overlooked - being a good caretaker for your children is much higher on the totempole after all. So ladies, if you were to find someone who you completely trusted with your precious little ones, but she happened to be incredibly attractive, too, do tell, would you hire her as your nanny or would you go back to the drawing board?

Credit Woes Leave Nannies Without a Spoonful of Sugar

After hearing of the $700 billion bailout, it's hard to imagine a crevice the world's financial trouble won't seep into, though this one does take some thinking.

One of Britain’s leading exports, the Mary Poppins-esque Nanny, is also facing tough times as one brokerage firm after another collapses. What was once a highly in-demand necessity is now turning into a rare luxury item for those that can still afford a pro to take care of their moppets. And it seems as though, like everything else, a spoonful of sugar won’t do the trick to make this economic medicine go down.

One London-based Nanny service employee, Kate Baker, said of the current situation: “The problems are just starting. In the last week or two I have started getting calls from nannies saying one or both of their employers have lost their jobs and so they have too.” Thousands in the London financial district are either already unemployed or projected to be so in the near future and many are saying there aren’t any magical umbrellas floating on the horizon any time soon.

Although there are cheaper nannies to be found in Eastern Europe, which in the past four years has supplied a less expensive substitute, the British nanny is still the gold standard. Or as Baker says: “The whole world still comes to Britain shopping for the Great British Nanny.” How big of a bag of tricks will the world's economies have to have to make that shopping possible again?

I am not a mother, but I do know how hard it is for new moms to leave their children for the first time. Trusting someone to watch your kids while you enjoy a much needed night off, or while you have to attend your husband's work function takes a lot of faith, and most of all, intuition.

So after you've interviewed many potential babysitter candidates, do you truly feel they can be trusted with your baby, or would you feel more comfortable if you could see everything that's going on while you're out? We have all heard of Nanny Cams, so to all you mothers out there, would you, or do you use a nanny cam when you leave your child with a sitter?

Jude cheated on Sienna with Nanny Daisy and now it looks as though he has hired Britney's ex-Manny, Perry Taylor. I wonder if that was Sienna's idea? Maybe Britney is smarter than we like to give her credit for. An ounce of prevention is worth A LOT!

Watch as the nanny-cam captures - not adult-on-baby abuse (thank heavens) - but the still quite terrifying baby-on-adult abuse. They're cute, people, until they attack. You don't know terror until you've seen baby fangs.
