He's strong and muscular, with a great head of hair and a big smile. Why wouldn't this kitty have an itty-bitty crush on the stallion next door? Sure, his nose is larger than life and his feet are kind of funky, but true love can overlook those kinks in appearance and see what matters most — he's strong and muscular, with a great head of hair and a big smile.

This kitten didn't get the memo about "letting sleeping dogs lie." He's ambushing this recumbent pooch front, back and sideways. The dog's all, "Whatevs, little shrimp."

While sittin' back with his belly to the air, Scooby is given a litter of bunnies to love. He hugs and licks at first, but then gets a sneaky look in his eye. Is it time for a Scooby snack?

This duckling and pup team are inseparable! Throw in a cute little girl and some "One Tree Hill"-ish music and it's an interspecies lovin' prime-time drama in the making...

Meet Finnegan the squirrel and Mademoiselle Giselle the Papillon dog who helped nurse him back to health. A known animal lover in her 'hood, human Debby Cantlon was asked to care for an abandoned newborn squirrel. (Have three words in the English language ever been filled with such pathos?) While she was caring for him, she realized her pregnant Papillon was intent on helping.

The openness of the animal kingdom continues to astound me. This baby tiger is being raised by a sow alongside piglets in the Guandong province of China. I know I'm getting all Disney on you guys, but in this harsh world, it's nice to know that, even if only for a time, predator and prey can get along.
