I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of the twin look. I understand that men and women can easily dress alike by mistake — jeans and a t-shirt are pretty androgynous, but even then it's a bit much. So despite the fact that George Clooney and Sarah Larson look equally good sporting matching leather jackets, tell me ladies, is dressing like your significant other a do or a don't?

Do you ever see couples walking down the street dressed in his and her matching outfits? I went to lunch not that long ago with one of my best friends and her new boyfriend. They showed up at the restaurante wearing matching orange sweaters and blue jeans, looking like they just walked off the cover of a J.Crew catalog.

OK, so they don't look exactly alike, but Renee Zellweger seemed to be channeling Shelly Winters at the Golden Globe Awards the other night. From her odd retro hair to her "meet me at the saloon" sheer black dress, she was Ms. Winters at her most awkward.

If you're a history fanatic, you're going to love the vintage White House videos AMC has gathered. The network rolled out some 1960s archive footage to set the scene for its straight-out-of-the-sixties series Mad Men. Especially satisfying, for Jackie Kennedy and presidential trivia fans alike, is video of the White House Tour given by the gracious lady of the (White) House.

I recently went to a wedding and was horrified by the bride's choice of dress for her bridesmaids. The cut (strapless and tea-length), the color (a pea green with yellow trim), and the material (think loads and loads of tulle and taffeta) were truly horrendous. That got me to thinking, could you suggest a cut and style of dress that is universally flattering, as well as any particular colors or materials.

My dad has passed away almost two years ago. Him and I shared a close bond since the moment I was born. I had a connection with him that I didn't have with anyone else.

Presidents Bush and Putin met for the last time this weekend to reminisce, say goodbye, dress completely alike, and discuss the European missile defense shield that Bush would like to build in Poland and the Czech Republic, just a stone's throw from Russia.
